Alright I'm stuck... Last thing I remember in the guide was giving dude 50 mana potions and getting a look at the UI before I logged out...

I went out hunting for npc Carrel but couldnt find him to see if there was something I missed from him... I went and talked to Eve and she had nothing to say either... The quest details states to talk to Gaius for more info seen here in this screenshot but also has nothing to say...

I also went and killed Baron Kidd 5 times and he drops nothing... seen here...

So the only thing I can think of is that maybe there was something maybe another quest missed at Carrel but have no clue where he is hiding...

Carrel asks you to find out some more information, and of course the best person for the job is Eve, but luckily you won

persuade, intimidate or use observation on npc when you are stuck

how can i threaten carole without the skil intimidate? can u have someone in a party that has the skill do it for u, and u get credit?

you can have someone use the skill on you (like a buff) then you should be able to talk to the NPC
