Riddle me this.

I found one of these scrolls in Freedom Harbor in a Treasure Chest.

I got a very little bit of XP from it (about 2k XP lol.)

Then I noticed them for sale in the Auction House (lots of 5, was like 7 different lots for sale) when I was searching for an action scroll. <Somebody must know many spawn points and farm them.>

I am wondering how many places the Treasure Chests spawn in Freedom Harbor, and if you might get better reward than a little XP from the Enigma Scrolls.

all they're used for are for an achievement, nothing else, really.

I know of two... one inside the shell looking thing by the GL entrance (by guild NPCs and mage tutor)

And second by the small fence, to the right of whatever NPC you turn in the daily world luck quests.

There are 5 that I know of.

As Firebat said, one is located inside the shell next to the Mage tutor.

The second is located near Henry through the path to his right (I forget the name of the general area) on the path that leads to the CV NPC. There will be a plank that leads to a platform. The second will be on that platform if its up.

The third is behind the Bank in the same area as the second, near the CV NPC. Go into the bank and either go around it or through the bank and you'll see curtains on the wall. Pass through the curtains and you'll be in a small narrow path with a trashcan at the end. The third is at this can.

The fourth is by the Run Lola Run NPC in the same area as the World Daily NPC. Go up the ramp by the tree and keep going up to the very top. The fourth will be at the top somewhere if its up.

The fifth scroll is around the training/praying area. I forget where it is but its supposed to be up stairs by the Lionheart main NPC guy somewhere. I haven't actually found this one but I keep getting told its in an obvious spot.

I've found quite a few now thanks to everyone's suggestions. I will keep looking for them to try for the acheivement I guess.

Oh, btw, I made a mistake when I called it a treasure chest. It's actually called an Unlocked Chest.

There's another inside the ship where Harbor Crisis takes place and you gather the bombs. Also one up near where El Nino is located at. I've most commonly have found them behind the tree in the pray area. However, I've yet to receive the achievement for their discovery. Anyone know how many you need?

when i start my asassin when i begin to play FW i found the one in the well and it said you found bla bla chest 1/4 ..but now i doubt that they r only 4

Afaik you need 30 for the achievement. And you don't have to search the chests yourself, you just have to read the scrolls to get the achievement. So you can buy them in the auction house. Oh, and just one more thing... you can only read 5 scrolls per day. =)
